Matt Hawkins

Matt began serving FBC as lead pastor in April of 2014. He loves the local church and has a heart for seeing people passionately follow Jesus and make disciples. Matt also enjoys sports, coaching, and spending time with his wife, Monica, and four sons, Matthew, Caleb, Joshua, and Jacob.
Gary McCullough
Worship Pastor

Gary has recently joined the staff here at FBC. He retired from the Navy Band in 2007 where he served for 20 years as a trumpet instrumentalist. He is pursuing his master’s degree in Worship Studies at Liberty University and has been involved in church music all his life. In 1987, while stationed in New Orleans, Gary felt called into music ministry and began serving part-time in local churches wherever he was stationed throughout his Naval career. Gary is married to his wife Tamela of 36 years. They been blessed with 3 children, Kristen, Kayce, and Andrew. They also have 7 wonderful grandchildren. Gary is excited to be here at FBC Ripley. His desire is to help create an atmosphere of worship where everyone is focused on giving glory, praise and honor to our Lord and Savior, King Jesus!
 
Alex Williams

Alex Williams has served as Youth Director of First Baptist Church Ripley since October 2018 after serving for almost a year as the Children’s Ministry Intern at First Baptist Church Lexington. He is currently a senior at Union University where he is pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Theology with an emphasis in Ministry and Missions. Alex was recently engaged to Kirstie Hurt who is a graduate of Union and now works as the Substance Abuse Counselor at West Tennessee State Penitentiary Women’s Ward. Mark Harrison

Mark has been serving at First Baptist Church for over 25 years.  Mark is married to Lucy and has three daughters and three grandchildren.

Marion Meibaum
Jammin’ for Jesus Director
 
Marion has been attending First Baptist Church over 75 years and has been playing joyful music to the Lord for 50 years.  She has served as the Director of the Jammin’ for Jesus choir since 2012
Michele
Church Secretary
 
Michele (second from right) and her husband Ed have been married for 31 years. They are blessed with a son (Drew), his wife Jen and two granddaughters, Presley (3 yrs old) and Parker (1 year old). Their daughter, Bailee, attends the University of Memphis where she is a senior. Michele has served as secretary to the church for 11 years.
